FACTS ABOUT KECHNEC
Kechnec began to write its modern history since its independence on 1 December 1990. From 1964 to 1986 it was part of the Hraničná pri Hornáde. Later, after 1986, a trio of the original villages of Seňa, Kechnec and Milhosť was established. Kechnec is a Slovak-Hungarian municipality, in which approximately the same percentage of Slovak and Hungarian nationals live.
